Nova Multi Gang Cover Plates; To Configure the proper cover plate for Nova dimmers you need to identify these conditions. N covers all start begin with the catalog number N. The next portion is identifying the switches or dimmers. The "S" is for the dimmers with out Presets. Example a double gang cover would be a N-SS. If the dimmer had a preset it would be a "P" in place of the S's. Some covers may need a combination plate such as when you have a non preset dimmer next to a preset dimmer. Example is a N-SP(2gang One Non-preset and one Preset). Each gang is given a letter to signify it's gang. It is standard to have to break off the inner fin's of the dimmer as to fasten to a standard multi gang box. This Is the "FB" portion of the part number. The last letters tell us what color you want your plate in. Example: BE( Beige), BL (Black, BR (Brown)..ect. For More explanation at the bottom of this page.

There are countless of configurations available, these are just some of the most popular. There will be times where you may want a combination plate. Non are listed on our site but they can be ordered. Example would be a N-SSSP-FB-WH(4 gang plate with 3 non preset's and one preset dimmer. *Please note that all the covers listed here are for the 600 and 1000 watt dimmers. The larger Dimmers have a different part system.
